Add Censys Datasets to Google BigQuery

Before you can query Censys global scanning engine data through Google BigQuery, you need to add the censys-io project to your Google BigQuery project. This article explains how to add the dataset after you create a Google Cloud account.

Google BigQuery access is only available to users of an Enterprise data contract and verified non-commercial researchers. If you have any questions about access, contact [email protected].

Pin the Censys resource

Log in to the BigQuery UI in the Google Cloud Console. If your account is set up correctly, you will see your primary project and the standard query interface. In our example, we created and switched to a new project specific to Censys Research.

Pin the resource

To pin censys-io to the Resource tree

1. Click ADD DATA, expand Pin a project, and click Enter project name.
2. Enter censys-io as the project name, and click PIN. You receive a notification that censys-io is pinned.
