Risk Email Notifications

In Censys Attack Surface Management (ASM), you can integrate your email to receive notifications whenever a new risk is identified. This allows you to triage, prioritize, and remediate the issue.

Use the Rapid Response email integration to receive notifications about new Rapid Response risks.

Prerequisites

You will need the email address to which you want emails sent. You can create a separate email for these messages or add multiple email addresses.

Configure the integration in Censys ASM

1. Go to the Censys ASM web console and click Integrations.

2. Locate Email and click Set Up.

   

3. On the Authentication page, enter an email address as the recipient for notification emails.

4. Click Connect.

   

5. Click Next Step.

6. On the Default Set Up page, configure the following:

   1. Notification Type: Select whether you want to receive an alert for every risk event in real-time and/or receive a daily Risk Digest of all new risks in your attack surface.
   2. Include Assets: Select whether to show assets, such as IP addresses and domains, in the email.

7. Click Next Step.

8. On the Filters page, select the risk severities you want to send alerts for.

9. Click Submit, then click Close.

Modify the integration

If you need to make changes to your integration settings or if you need to disconnect the integration:

1. Go to the Censys ASM web console and click Integrations.

2. Locate Email and click Manage.

   

3. On the Authentication page, click Edit Setup. Then, at the bottom of the page, click Disconnect.

   1. You must disconnect the integration in order to make configuration changes.

4. Go through the setup wizard, as described in the section above, and make any necessary changes.
