AI Feature and Privacy Settings

You can configure AI feature availability and privacy settings for the Censys Assistant and Query Assistant on the Account Management page in the Platform web UI. These settings also configure AI features for Attack Surface Management (ASM) customers who have migrated their team management to the Platform.

All users can configure settings for their personal accounts on the Personal Settings > Privacy page. Users can configure the settings for their personal Free account and ther personal organization account on this page. Switch between different personal accounts using the selector on the top right corner of the page.

Organization administrators can configure settings for their organization on the Organization Settings > Privacy page.

Data processing information

All data collected from AI tools is anonymized to protect your privacy and adheres to the Censys Data Retention policy.

The following data is shared with privately-hosted, third-party AI models (OpenAI and Anthropic):

• Anonymized search queries input into the Query Assistant.
• Anonymized prompts input into the Censys Assistant.

AI Features

On the personal privacy settings page, this toggle controls whether AI tools are enabled for your personal account.

On the organization settings page, this toggle controls whether AI tools are enabled for your organization's users.

If you disable AI tools for your organization, users may still be able to use them on the Free accounts associated with their emails, depending on their personal privacy settings.

AI Training

On the personal privacy settings page, this toggle controls whether anonymized information that you input using AI tools can be used to train models managed by Censys.

On the organization settings page, this toggle controls whether anonymized information that any user in your organization inputs using AI tools can be used to train models managed by Censys.
