Manage and Monitor Censys Credits

Monitor and manage credit usage

Users can monitor their credit balance and usage in the Credit Management tab on the Censys Platform homepage. The credit balance is also available in the Account Management > Billing tab. All users who belong to an organization will see:

• Organization Usage: displays credits used in past 30 days by organization
• My Usage: displays credits used in past 30 days by the current user
• Organizational Credit Balance: remaining credits for organization

Organizational admins can see the fields above and the option to download a credit usage log.

Credit balance

The organization's available credit balance is displayed in this section. Below the balance, there is a status indicator that shows the health of your credit balance. The Credit Balance has three possible values:

• Sufficient: More than 20% of highest balance
• Running Low: Less than 20% of highest balance
• Services Paused: 0 credits (buy credits to resume access)

The calculation uses the initial balance of all credit purchases to set the highest balance. The status, Sufficient or Running Low, is determined by the current balance/highest balance. If the current balance is more than 20% of the highest balance, Sufficient is displayed.

For example, if the initial balance of org wallets is 2,000 and the org has 1,700 credits remaining, Sufficient is displayed because the remaining credits are greater than 20% of the total (2,000).

Every credit purchase or expiration will trigger a new calculation of highest balance and potentially change the status.

Purchase credits

Follow the instructions below to purchase credits. Enterprise customers must contact their account manager to purchase credits.

1. Go to the Account Management > Billing tab > Plan tab.
2. Click Purchase Credits.
3. Select the appropriate amount of credits.
4. Enter your payment information and accept the Terms and Conditions.
